Mexico City, July 29th, 2010. Lyncott, a company specializing in the sale of dairy products, will build a second plant in Queretaro next year, for which it will invest approximately $40 million dollars, revealed Alejandro Martinez, general director of the company.
New facilities of ten thousand square meters will be located in an area of 20 thousand square meters in the Bernardo Quintana industrial park, where current infrastructure is located. It is anticipated that the ground breaking ceremony will take place during the first months of 2011. With this inauguration about 100 jobs will be generated.
The firm"s goal is to triple by 2012 installed capacity. Currently, the Queretaro plant produces 3,500 tons of products per month. He stressed that the company decided to move its facilities from Mexico’s capital city (Mexico City), where the company remained its first 60 years, to Queretaro lands due to state stability and strategic geographical location which is accessible to major cities of the country, and is close to its milk suppliers, and to easiness available for private investment.
